Alice Bee and Christopher Levy.
One year after the Battle of Yavin (36:9:34) in the Essesia system: Esseles (New Calamar: Claudius Rodney's estate) and Retributor.
Ewwiekewwieikkie, Callista Nilar, Lieutenant Meham'ohorovi'cloca, and Melickielickie.

Ewwiekewwieikkie stared into the box containing the multicored felinx while scratching the top of her head. "Hmm. Is food? Is not food? I dunno..." she wondered, as her yellow eyes widened and she looked down at the pet. "Sort of looks like food," she said, as her attention shifted to Melickielickie. "What you think?" she asked, as she lowered her hand down to her jaw and considered the proposition. She then reached down into the box and picked the felinx up, which immediately began making noise and trying to get away. "Oh! Is not food!" she said, as it squirmed its way out of her grasp and took refuge in the box. "So where is food?" she asked, as she began impatiently tapping her food and looking about the kitchen.

Melickielickie watched her sister bravely inspect the creature in the box. Her eyes darted downward at it. "It's a swamp monster!" She squeaked. Melickielickie had accidently caught the end of a cheesy horror flick featuring a swamp monster that Zara had been watching while she was watching them. Now, everything unknown was a 'swamp monster'. "No sissy! Don't!" She squeaked, covering her eyes with her paws. "Ewwie! Nuuuuu!" It took her thirty seconds to realize that her sister had not been eaten. She inched her paws downward on her face. "Swamp monster," she whispered as she headed towards the kitchen. She beelined for the refrigerator, which she opened up. "Empty?!" There were only foods that needed to be cooked. Dramatically, she fell to her knees. "*We go hungey, Ewwie*!"

Callista Nilar found herself spending additional time at her auntie and uncle's. She marched through the door from the outside. She was pushing a stroller with Bruce inside of it ... only she had put him in a baby doll's dress. Her feet wobbled inside of Sierra's high heels. "Hello children." She said, trying to sound like an adult. "Mommy's home!" She declared as she stepped out of the shoes. She rubbed at her feet. "Owww..."

When Melickielickie opened the refridgerator door to reveal nothing Ewwiekewiwikkie's lip began to quiver. "N-n-no!" she squealed in a panic, before dramatically raising her forearm to her forehead and collapsing onto her behind on the kitchen floor. "I no want be hungy," she pouted, when suddenly Callista arrived with Bruce. "Uh. You bring food?" she pleaded, as she climbed up from the floor and began to scramble towards Callista and the stroller. "Oh. Is Bruce. Bruce no food," she concluded, before shaking her head. "We need to go on the HoloNet and order food," she decided, before encouraging both girls to follow her to the HoloNet transceiver.

"Oooooo." Melickielickie remembered how HoloNet food worked. "We need mommmeee bag." She reminded her sisters in arms (or food). The smaller Squib went darting upstairs. She quietly snuck through the hallway, gently pushing her parent's door open. Her bright eyes took in the bedroom. It seemed that the couple were taking a nap. Sierra had been wiped out lately, as attributed to being pregnant with twins. Melickielickie continued on, grasping her mother's purse. She quickly darted out of their bedroom, down the stairs, and directly towards her sister. Of the many things Melickielickie did not know, she knew what a credit card looked like. She found it inside of Sierra's wallet. "*Make food appear*!" She said, holding up the card.

"Nope. This is *my* baby." Callista told Ewwiekewwieikkie. The more she heard talk of food, the more hungry she became. "I'm hungry too..." She whined. She followed Ewwie with the stroller. Bruce seemed content, especially because he'd been watching the ducks fuss over him outside. His chubby face lit up when he saw Ewwiekewwieikkie. Callista looked down at him. "Say 'hi' to your sister!" Since the twins were saying a couple words now, Callista wanted Bruce to talk too. The sooner he could talk, the sooner she could involve him in her tea parties. "Hiiii." She prompted again. Bruce then repeated the word in the most quiet, gentle voice. 'Hiiii'.

Ewwiekewwieikkie began shaking frantically when she received the credit chit from Melickielickie. "Okay. Auntie Mae's rib shack!" she said, before inserting the credit chit into the holonet transceiver and bringing up the menu. "All the food please," she said, as she began pressing buttons until nearly 500 credits worth of ribs and sides had been ordered. "The food is coming! Hurry up! Hurry up!" she said, before she turned her attention to Callista and Bruce. "What? What he say?" she asked, as she scurried over the HoloNet and stuck her head into the stroller until she got right into Bruce's face. "Hi!" she said, perhaps a bit too loud.

The little boy laughed happily at his sister. He reached his hands out. His little fingers brushed over Ewwiekewwieikkie's face. As his excitement grew, he began to kick his feet until he was free of his blanket. Above him, Callista was trying again. "Say it! Say 'hi!' Hi! Hi! Hi!" She looked at her friend. "Can he eat ice cream yet? When's the food gonna be here? Melickie, don't eat that!" She bent down, prying Bruce's little bantha out of her mouth. She wiped it off on her dress. "Good as new!" Bruce immediately mouthed the bantha. His big, brown eyes watched his sister. "H-Hi!" He said again. He didn't understand the meaning of the word. He occasionally rambled, but otherwise he was fairly quiet. "Hi!" He repeated.

Melickielickie moved on. She gnawed on the stroller until she heard her little brother. She peeked her head over the stroller, attempting to climb in alike to her sister. "*He talkeded*!" Melickie screamed. "We tell mommeee? We tell daddeee? We tell *everyone*!" Overly excited, Melickielickie pushed the stroller towards the holoprojector. She had seen her parents use it before, but this would be the first time she used it. "Eeee!" She pressed buttons until she called ... Meham'ohorovi'cloca. "*Urgent news*!" She squeaked. This was also something she had heard on the command ship. "Ewwie! Get Bruce!"

Aboard the command ship, Lieutenant Meham'ohorovi'cloca was standing her watch on the bridge when a priority message from the Rodney estate came through. She expected it to be Major Rodney, or perhaps even the Grand Moff himself, but when she saw it was a quite excited Melickielickie all she did was silently blink. "Urgent news? Is everything alright?" she asked, devoid of any emotion, as she looked back at the young Squib. Perhaps something was amiss, she considered, but more information was needed. Unfortunately, she was unsure of whether or not the young Squib would be capable of delivering the needed information.

"Hi!" Ewwiekewwieikkie shouted at her baby brother, while Melickielickie ran about the house excitedly. "Here he comes!" she said to everyone as she reached into the stroller and began moving towards Melickielickie and the holoprojector. "He can talk! He can talk! He can talk!" she sang, before sticking Bruce onto the projector and trying to broadcast his limited speech to everyone. But then there was a knock on the door and her mouth flung open. "That can't be the ribs!" she said, as she scrambled towards the door and opened it. A parade of delivery people arrived carrying bag after bag of ribs and sides for everyone.

Poor Bruce. He was still wearing a baby doll's dress. His blonde hair was messy from Callista attempting to put it into tiny piggy tails. He sat there, on the projector, staring at Lieutenant Meham'ohorovi'cloca with his bantha toy in one hand. Melickielickie had disappeared too. The food delivery had swept both Squibs away. Callista, who had claimed Bruce, stepped up to the holoprojector. She smile at the Chiss officer, then began talking to Bruce. "Say 'Hi' to the nice lady. Hiiiiiii. Hiiiii!" The boy threw his bantha across the holoprojector then spoke. "Hiiiii." He said it the exact same way that Callista did. "Hiii hiii hiii hiiii!" He rambled. "*You have to tell everyone*!" Callista had never met Meham'ohorovi'cloca before. Undoubtedly, the Chiss woman would be invited to a tea party before too long. "You should come over and see! There's lots of food!" Callista persuaded.
