Born on Akiva, a remote planet in the Outer Rim Territories. It was one
of five worlds closest to Raydonia, the others being Mustafar, Geonosis,
Dermos, and Tatooine. The planet was once part of the Confederacy of
Independent Systems, who created a large droid construction facility
under the planet's surface. After the Clone Wars, the planet fell under
the occupation of the Galactic Empire with the Satrapy of Myrra
collaborating with it new rulers.
The Quabil family left Akiva when
Bri was still a child. Her memories of the plant are mostly of playing
amongst the jungle flora. Her father was a diplomat and represented the
planet in the senate on Corusant. City life agreed with the family and
they remained in the core region after her father's term had ended.
Bri began her career as an ambassador, slowly making her way through
the ranks of the Alliance through diplomatic negotiations and her knack
for strategic planning.
As an ambassador, she secured the Rebel Alliance two victory class
star destroyers from a small smuggling ring that could not afford their
upkeep. The cost to the alliance was food rations and medical supplies,
which Bri secured through negotiations with local governments who
sympathized with the rebellion. News of her negotiating skills soon
spread and she took on more and more assignments, having a fairly good
outcome on most, with the exception of "the Hutt incident".
As a general, she is known throughout the rebellion for her stanch
discipline and rigorous adherence to rules but also for her caring
nature and desire to help everyone. Her motto is, "Rules and compassion
go hand in hand." General Quabil believes that the greatest crime of the
Empire is its mistreatment of living beings no matter how sentient or
what sort of deprivation their life style forces them to live within.
Because of this, she believes that no one should be left behind and has
negotiated with the underworld and other non-military factions to bring
home fallen and captured rebels.
